Amalie is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University ’06 and Yale Divinity School ‘10. She comes to our church after serving seven years as Transitional Presbyter for the Presbytery of Tropical Florida, in this position she was responsible for the southeast region’s 41 Churches from Ft Pierce to Key West and the 112 ministers.

Amalie is a second career minister who responded to a call to serve after 18 years with Discover Card in sales, marketing and management. She is a native from Ft Lauderdale. Her family reside in Palm Beach County; son Benjamin and his wife, Liza Patchen and daughter, Rebecca and her husband, James Currie and five grandchildren.
